Mighty Matthew Cycle 2024
“We are delighted to announce the 8th Annual Mighty Matthew Charity Cycle and this year we have a new route which will take us from Clontarf to Mount Wolseley in Tullow Co. Carlow on Friday September 13th. Last years cycle was an emotional and great event for all those involved and this year we want to make it our biggest event yet.”
“Clontarf to Carlow is downhill all the way! & the new route will be an easy cycle covering a distance of approx 150km, split into 4 legs of less than 40km each. After the first leg we will have a break where teas, coffees and refreshments will be served, then after the 2nd leg a nice lunch break with another refreshment break after the 3rd leg before we have the final spin into Mount Wolseley.
All levels of skill are welcome and much encouraged. Those who took part in previous years have had various levels of fitness and ability (so don’t let that put you off). Previous participants also ranged from those who have not ridden a bike in over 30 years to the more competitive riders for whom cycling is an ongoing passion.”
