Attention pregnant women, new mothers and not so new mothers!

Having a baby and entering motherhood is a blessing and a journey you will be on for many years to come. During the earlier stages of motherhood, our own needs tend to slip down the list of things to attend to as we prioritise the amazing little human(s) who have just entered the world.

We understand here at Element that getting to the gym can be difficult with a little baby, so we are opening our doors to all new and (not so new!) mothers to create a space where you can meet others alike, and train while having your little bundle of joy with you.

The Mum and Baby sessions will be strength and conditioning focused. Our goal is to build strength back in the core, pelvic floor and back. We want to give you the confidence to lift your child and weights, to train confidently and to stay injury free. The course will be broken down into different levels depending on where you are in your prenatal or postpartum journey. There is something for everyone, a space for all levels of training within a baby friendly environment.

Our sessions run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am-12pm, each session is 50 minutes where we will work on mobility, strength and conditioning. Three sessions are available each week and we would love to see you attend 2 of the 3 days.

 FAQs

  • Yes! Each exercise is tailored to your strength capabilities, injuries and general fitness level.

  • You will receive a form by email when you book your first session. You can also fill this form in-person at your first session. These questions help us understand more about you, ensuring we provide a service that is tailoured to your needs. It also confirms that you are in good condition to train at ELEMENT.

  • At your first session, you will meet your trainer, get introduced to the others in the class. Importantly you will be shown how to safely undertake each movement and exercise.

    Each Mum & Baby will get a pod that they can position themselves for the session.

  • No!

    We understand that your schedule can change from week to week. That is why, you are free to any M&B class, where there is an available spot.

  • To ensure you can attend your favourite time, you can reserve your sessions 30 days in advance through our convenient booking app.

    We continually review our timetable to ensure there are enough spaces for every each week. However, if your desired session is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist.

  • You can cancel your booking via our mobile app or in the members area of our website.

    Everyone’s plans can change, we get that. Juggling life with a newborn is difficult and we will be understanding of cancelling your booking.

  • Don’t fret if you are stuck in traffic, or your baby isn’t playing ball and their naps are off. Just drop us a text. We will get you set up when you arrive.

  • When a class is fully booked. You will be offered a spot on the waitlist. If someone then cancels, you can take their place.

    You can add/remove yourself to the waitlist from our mobile app.

    If a spot becomes available, you will receive a text and email to confirm your spot.
